For Employers

LiveVT, under the GROW program at the Southwestern Vermont Chamber of Commerce, works to assist in workforce relocation for employers in Bennington County.

As part of a state-wide effort to increase out-of-state migration to Vermont, our efforts help young professionals, tradespeople, and families find their place in our region. This includes guidance on employment, housing, community, home economics, and more.

HOW WE CAN HELP YOU:

1) Help relocate the job leads you have

If you have a stream of out-of-state employment applications already, then our program is set up perfectly to help your hiring team land your top candidates at zero cost to your organization.

  • Add an email byline that highlights RelocateToVermont.com

When you reach out to candidates who live out-of-state, be sure to include a link to this website and encourage them to use our Cost-Free Relocation Guidance. This can be done by simply adding a byline to your email communications with candidates.

    Ex.

Who we are:

Live VT and RelocateToVermont.com are subsidiaries of the Southwestern Vermont Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Think Vermont. Our work is partially funded by the Grants for Relocation and Outreach Work (GROW) program on behalf of The Vermont Agency of Commerce & Community Development and The Vermont Department of Tourism and Marketing.

How relocation guidance works:

Live VT and RelocateToVermont.com function as lead-generation platforms. Once leads come in, our team contacts them personally, with information and language based on their answers to specific questions in our intake form. From there, leads are gradually nurtured through email, phone, video calls, and visits.

Relocation leads are provided with housing referrals, job referrals, community connections, school reviews (starting April 2025), and “Vermont 101” educational information, such as home economics, transportation, recreation, and more.
